Front plastic part in front.

under the front bumper the plastic part is broken. Would this be expensive to fix?
it is broken and hangs down a bit. I searched for under carriage but im not sure if that was the correct thing to search for... Any clue on what it would cost to fix this or what i should do?

^pic doesn't work.

Can you pick it out of this parts diagram?

Or, is it the tray that goes behind the bumper under the engine?

At any rate:

New, the prices at the above site (onlinemazdaparts.com) are pretty competitive for most parts.

Or,

New or (possibly used): mazmart.com (a forum vendor)

Or, used... post a Wanted to Buy thread in the parts for sale section.

By the way, if you're in Burkina Faso and I just gave you US sources - it's because you didn't put your location in your profile....

Under cover

See the attached image. I suspect you are referring to the under cover tray highlighted in the parts diagram. If so, get under the car and see if some of the bolts/screws holding it on have come off and attempt to repair it. I doubt that you really want to pay for a whole new one.

Yah that is what i am talking about. There is like a bolt missing but on the left part it is broken off. The right side is fine just the left side where it makes comes together and looks kinda like a block.

Call the local Mazda parts department and give them the part number to get a price. You may decide to patch up the tray with fiberglass or something similar when you hear the price. As an alternative, you can try to find one from a used parts place like Mazmart.com.

BTW, the part number is F151-56-110A.

I replaced it on my car. The price is around $150 from Mazmart or another online parts dealer. A dealer will be much more depending on their markup. The closer they are, the less you will have to pay for shipping.

Just get a new bolt. if you have to you can make your own holes with a drill and get clips to attach it.

Yes, there's a parts manual on line but I don't have the link off hand. Let me see if I can come up with it.

Edit: Try this link. You will find the early shop manual sections and the parts catalog there. However, navigation within the site seems very slow today.

Here is what I found.

http://foxed.ca/rx7manual/manuals/rx8_collision.pdf

It doesn't have ALL the parts but it looks like it has the most common body parts.
