worked out you about 18.5mpg.
not happy but better that i had hoped.

I ussually get the light at 190-200 miles.
When I fill, it is normally at 200 and 13.5 gallons.
I have only once gotten 220 out of a tank. But, I am all backcountry road driving. Lots of accelleration and starts/stops. Plus, it is about an 8 mile commute to work, so most of the driving is while the car is warming up. (I would consider country roads more like city driving. No sitting at the light, but lots of stops/starts at intersections.)

ive been getting the light about about 240-250 in mixed city/freeway driving, took it to 290 on a tank once on a long drive. this is driving under 80 usually and not too many full throttle accelerations.

My dealer in AZ is telling me that the engine will run better on 89. Anyone else been told this? I am on my second tank and the soot out of the tail pipes is almost gone. Plus it seems to run the same or better.

That said, I have just run my last 2 tanks on 91RON Unleaded (the lowest we go) after running on nothing but 98 since I got my car in Feb. I have to say that the car feels like it runs better and is more responsive. I am driving it harder and my fuel economy is no worse. Next tank will be gently driving to see if it does get better.
I have also been driving with DSC totally off if the roads are dry.
I average 340 Kms (200 Miles) per tank where I fill up with around 55 litres (12.1 Gallons).
Regards
Andrew

i usually get 200-240 in mixedusually aggressive driving. On long trips though of less than 300 miles i will get 260 to the tank. But for some reason on trips in the 600-1000 mile range the second tank ends up lasting 320-340 which was nearly 25mpg all at 75mph+...wierd

WOW...talk about bringing a thread from the dead...lol
I get 250 miles with all city driving with no problem using about 13.x gallons. I've never used up more than 13.7 gallons in my 8. I also have never taken my 8 for a trip (long periods of time on the highway) either so 260+ is the max I've gotten on it so far with no less than 249 miles on it with all city driving.
I probably average 252 miles per fill up @ 13.x gallons used.

I use 91 octane and it never fails 220 miles no matter how I drive. I'd say I drive 60% highway 40% city. This is true before and after mods(RB Exhaust, RB Intake)

I use 89-93 ocatane
I drive 60% city 40% highway.
I never let the rpms get below 3400 unless at idle.
Shift at or near redline 80% of the time.
The low fuel light comes on at 255 miles just about every time.
and if I fill up right then it takes 13.2 gallons.
I have gone 290 on a tank without running out of fuel.
Could tires be a factor? I drive my friends with stock potenzas
and I can't get it 220 before the light comes on.
But mine came stock with Dunlops. Thoughts?

The usually get about 200 per tank when driving 70/30 city/highway...93 octane.
My best, was on a road trip to Kentucky. I stopped to buyu gas after 175 miles....could not pass it up...it was 93 octane for $1.98 in Ohio. (Michigan was $2.42). It took 6.5 gallons to fill back up....which equates to 26.9 mpg. The conditions were nearly perfect...about 65-70 degrees, low humidity, no rain, and traffic was smooth...I probably averaged 75mpg for the 175 miles. I probably reached 95-100 for a few moments here and there, and dropped to as low as 65 for about the same. I was very impressed by this...I was on N flash at the time.
On P flash, I had 23 mpg on the same trip, but my average driving has bumped up to about 18mpg. Getting about 230-240 per tank now.
