Deflooding Options
So is there anyway to deflood without taking to the dealership? I did the dyi for it but that didn't work. I was thinking if I just remove the spark plugs and let the engine dry out wouldn't that work. Any tips would be great.

Don't know if you ever hit the forums over on Edmunds.com, but a poster there by the name of pathstar puts out a ton of great info on rotaries. He posted one link on how to de-flood your car and I actually printed it and put it in my car. This link may work:

If not, go to the Mazda rx8 forum (right on the Edmunds.com home page, near the bottom on the right, choose your make and model), click on problems and solutions for the rx8 and go to post number 1299. HOpe this helps!!
