depends if your riding it a little it's normal.on my fourth year and every once in a while i park on a hill at work and i let it slip a bit and i smell the clutch a little but no harm if it's just for a second or two.

I think I've smelled clutch more than once with my car and the thing has 10,000 miles, this was after just normal driving too. I've been driving stick for over 10 years now and I've never smelt it before. Oh well, guess it's normal

If your car is new then it is normal to smell the clutch in the beginning. Otherwise you maybe slipping the clutch too much.
