What is M/C?

So what does it mean when a parts says it is for before M/C? I am really confused and have no clue what it means. Thanks for the help.

I don't really think it was master cylinder, because it was for nearly every part. It was saying that the parts were only for before M/C. But it is at JapanParts.com

My guess is it's in reference to before the current model. As in 04-07 model years.

edit: make that 04-08 model years

It stands for Minor Change. Like when they change some small part on a car that is considered a minor change. Better fittment, better sealing, basically a product inprovement.

Minor Change

The JDM model has gone through a minor styling change since it's release so "Before M/C " and "After M/C " is early type vs. later type

Best

So how do you know if your car is early or late type? I understand that it would on the part but how would we know?

The 1st Minor change RX8 was released here in Japan about 6 weeks ago; ( end of Feb. 2008 ) I would expect you won't see this in the States for several months
