My guess is it's in reference to before the current model. As in 04-07 model years.

It stands for Minor Change. Like when they change some small part on a car that is considered a minor change. Better fittment, better sealing, basically a product inprovement.

JDM model
Minor Change
The JDM model has gone through a minor styling change since it's release so "Before M/C " and "After M/C " is early type vs. later type

So how do you know if your car is early or late type? I understand that it would on the part but how would we know?
