Question Clunk when starting

Hi all-

First post for me, so please go easy on me.

I didn't find this in other posts, so-

When I first start moving, I get a "clunk" sound from the car, whether or not I'm in gear (like rolling backwards down a hill).

I don't get that sound any other time under other circumstances, like starting from a light.

Is this a normal thing, or do I need to ask the dealer to take a closer look?

Help appreciated!

Not to worry. It's the ABS brake system doing a self-test.

I hear two clunks myself. The first one happens right after starting up the car, and I believe it's the Xenons performing their auto leveling. The second one happens right after I start reversing, and I guess that one's the ABS test.

I get it too.
I think it has something to do with the ABS self-check.

Thanks Guys!

Thanks for all the reassurance!

I was worried for a while...

Yes, it's time for the noise from the redline buzzer!

I've only got up to 7500 RPM so far, since i'm planning on taking it easy on the car until about 1500 miles...

Thanks again!
