I say Northern California....and I don't mean San Francisco. The real northern California like around Humboldt County type area. All the redwood forests to go see, rivers to drive to. I used to live in Eureka, CA. You got rain every now and then. Pretty much 50's year round or so. Not to hot or cold. Tons of twisties to drive through all that forested area. Boy, do I miss it. No real auto crime, traffic congestion or snow. Maybe slightly higher gas prices, but otherwise positives towards everything else on the list.

VA is no the greatest place to own one; the laws/fines for speeding infractions just shot up 300% on July 1 2007. So basically, 1500 for a speeding ticket, 3500 for a wreckless! Just in fines! But there are cool roads to drive on, so its a total toss up.
