Anybody have a dealer accuse you of drifting?

^bs, he cannot give you a reckless driving ticket unless it is obvious that you had a willful disregard for persons or property, and you had your car under control. Cops...
Anyways, that sucks and makes for a crappy day.

For the first few weeks I lived in my current apartment complex, people would shoot me dirty looks as I drove around, presumably for "speeding". I don't think I've ever broken 15mph in the neighborhood, the only thing I can figure is my car is noisy, therefore it must be going fast and putting their kids (who are playing in the middle of street) in danger. Could also be that I'm a "racer" for revving up my engine every time I have to get going, their automatics never do anything so vulgar and aggressive.

1) Flip them off.
2) Press the clutch down and redline.

When people yell at me to slow down, I usually stop my car and back up. Then I say in a stern voice "excuse me?", and which point they just stomp away shaking their head. Pussies. Too afraid to say anything to a 250lb 6'6'' guy lol.

Alright, I had to go back to the dealer yesterday since they forgot to replace my valve stem cap for the second time and I only work a half mile from them. The guy I spoke to the before (who accused me of drifting) asked me if I found a new tire yet. I told him I found 2 used tires with minimal wear (I purchased these from a member on this board). He said he'd mount both of them for me at no charge. At this point I'm just sick of the whole thing and decided to call it even since I think it would cost close to that to get them mounted elsewhere. I still plan on avoiding this dealer, but at least they are doing something to compensate me.

I have never been accused of drifting, but I have had people yell at me to slow down when I was traveling 25 mph in a 25 mph zone.

I hit a heel-toe downshift from about 40 to some slow speed in 2nd, maybe around 20 (speed limit is 30), and some guy literally runs in front of my car, stands there yelling and flipping me off. I was going so "fast" that I "barely" managed to stop "only" about 25 feet away from him. Asshat.
And yes, I took off hard and went faster down the street than I normally would after that.

I took the car in for the Brake TSB (front brake squeal) and for the Visor TSB.
Dropped it off at around 8:00am, picked it up back around 4:30pm
They called at around 11am and said that they were trying to get Mazda to pay for the brakes and that they said both visors looked like someone tried to pry them open.
Now the passengers visor had never been touched, and I don't think had even been used more than a half dozen times. The drivers visor was in the 2 1/2 pieces that they do when they bust apart. and hanging down.
So they begrudgingly replaced the visors, and when I went to pick up the car said that they looked like they had been pried on again, and that they did me a favor and replaced the brakes.
But they didn't even do the brake TSB correct (they just replaced the front pads and didn't use any brake grease or anti-squeal compound) so the front brakes started squealing again 2 weeks later. I ended up putting in the brake grease and anti-squeal myself at home a couple days after they started squealing again.
Normally that dealer bends over backwards for me. Wash and vac the car, detail out everything, bring me water or coffee if I am waiting. They treat me real well.
I probably spend a couple hundred a month there for parts (been restoring a couple RX-7s) and bought the car from there and the wife's family has bought a half dozen caddies from them, and most of them know that I am an admin on the RX7club.com.
But this time they were ********, enough that I went and found the service manager and screamed at him about the BS of the visors. <edit> Still haven't told them about the brake **** though... kinda makes you feel like if I ever took the car in for a real warranty issue (like the motor) that I would be fucked <end edit>

Why would anyone pry apart their visors? Let alone both of them. Seems like common sense that they're more likely to have broken on their own than the driver being dumb enough to pry apart and shatter the visors at the same spot twice.
