Air conditioner amplifier and reflash

Looks like Mazda got it right with the service bulletins for replacing the air conditioner amplifier and latest pcm flash codes. I had the cold then not so cool air cycling issue, now the air conditioning is great. The latest reflash also seemed to add some power (haven't timed it, just seat of the pants feeling). Will see if gas mileage improves, have been getting 17 to 18 which is ok with me for combined city/hwy and shift points around 5 to 6 thousand rpm. If it gets better that will be great, if not, so what! The thing was quick before, it really scoots now and also keeps me cool on 95 degree days.

I have to reiterate the improvement after getting the A/C Amplifier. I felt my A/C was always "adequate", it never cycled cold/warm as some have experienced. What I noticed that it did an "ok" job at a "2" setting but when on "4" it seemed to just blow plain air as opposed to cold air. Much happier after getting the amplifier!

I remember reading these A/C problem threads with great interest before buying my 8. I live in a very hot climate, and good A/C is a must have.

My A/C works flawlessly. Very cold and doesn't take long at all to cool the car.

My a/c is better, but it's still cycling. Instead of cold/warm, now I get cold/cool. Which I'll settle for.
