ABS AND TCS light both on

I searched for this and alot of threads said to just turn your car to ON and turn wheel clockwise then counterclockwise. I did that and it still turns on when im driving.

THis just recently started happening. THe car drives fine and it came on randomly.

Anyone know how to stop the lights from coming on again ?? I hope this wont cost alot of money to fix :|

You might have a bad wheel speed sensor. Take the wheels off and look for a little capsule next to a toothed gear attached to the hub. Clean off any metal shavings stuck to the capsule (it's a magnetic sensor). If cleaning doesn't help, then you might have a dead sensor or a broken wire to the sensor.

You have to turn it all the to the right and left as to where it locks.

Check your battery. It's probably bad or your connections are corroaded

i tried the reset again. Car drove fine without the lights for a good 15 minutes then it randomly showed up again while braking lightly.

When i shut the car off and restart the lights go away. Anything else you guys think it is ??

I really dont wanna pay mazda 300 bucks to remove 2 stupid lights. F***

^That's how mine started and now it's stuck on for good it seems.

I stopped messing with it for now, cause I know I need an alignment after installing new shocks and springs. Just been busy. After the alignment if I'm still having issues I'm just gonna drop it off at a friendly dealer and take the raping...

sorry to bump this thread but both the ABS AND TCS lights have come on again. I noticed its when i lightly press the brake pedal and theyll stay on for the rest of the ride. Shut the car off then turn it on and its gone.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS its annoying as hell ?!?!?

Ive tried all the resetting ive read from other threads and they both still come on !!

I think the brake switch has a lot to do with this as well. The brake switch has two switches built in and they are opposites. Mine did this for years till a couple days ago where I took it apart and cleaned contacts with sand paper and adjusted the little fingers that make contact on the inside, now it works great!! No lights on the dash. Shawn we will need o clean yours and see if it will fix it.

I have not lol. I didnt know it could shoot up ABS and TCS ... im pretty sure its something to do wiith the brake switch or pedal cause it comes on whenn i lightly press the brake pedal. Ill give the MAF sensor cleaning a try.

^ well my problem started just like yours except it was raining. I had the dsc off and was coming to my exit and I turned it back on (sharp right exit) right after I began braking (lightly) the system went down. Threw out the next couple of days it went out more and more often. A few days later a buddy called to let me know my lights were on. Turns out my brake light switch failed, replaced it and brake lights were fine after that. But now I can't even get the dsc to activate at all. Never had a problem with the abs (and it does work wonderfully).
I did read on here somewhere that it could be related to sticking calipers, I know both my front calipers sliders are frozen.
