Cleaned MAF, need reset ECU?

Cleaned MAF, need reset ECU?

As title says, i cleaned my MAF out, do i need to reset the ECU afterwards or i just drive as normal?

id reset it. Pretty easy. I think one part of the cpu is reset by disconnecting the battery. The other is reset by pumping the brake pedal in excess of about 10 times in a quick spurt. Is pretty easy to do I'd do it after cleaning it.

I cleaned my MAF sensor and never reseted my ECU. Check engine light did not show anyway.

Only thing reseting your ECU is gonna do is clear your fuel trims. Was your MAF that dirty and if so was it dirty for a meaningful amount of time?

The reset procedure is correct... pull the battery, wait 15 minutes, and pump the brake pedal like 20 times.
