The way I see it, this is not going to be the last time someone will be scammed with this type of junk on the internet. We need to target the scammers who are flogging this crap off to unsuspecting people.

Theres no doubt EBay is the leading provider of online payment services around the world, and they claim to devote substantial money and resources to promote its services and to provide a high quality service.

While they may respect the right for anyone to conduct business on the Internet, they also have a responsibility to enforce its own rights in order to protect its own name and above all its customers.

For this reason alone, eBay must be notified of this rip off merchant and insist that they are immediately banned from using the site. As a course of rule they also ensure they keep an eye out for them registering under a pseudo name or other similarly registered domain name.

Renesis, I recommend you contact the administrators on eBay, and reprot to them that you have been ripped off, and insist you want them pursued with all available courses of action. Good luck.

BTW, I'm Nigerian royalty and would like to deposit $10 million to your bank account. Just send me your account and routing numbers and I can get to work.

Spot on No Tears, but unfortunately theres a lot of people out there who get sucked in to these scams...

Theres a lot to be said for doing a little bit of self education and research on these forums, or simply just google.

The only way to beat them is to play their own game back, and make life as uncomfortable as possible for them...

But then they just go somewhere else...

Pretty much the way cars run better after an oil change or a good wash and wax.

There was a time in the US when the government would come down hard on these guys, especially if they made claims about better gas mileage. Back in the 70s EPA was really ferocious about mileage improvement claims. That (and most other consumer protections) went away after the 1980 election.

One of the ebay chip sellers puts each make's logo in his ad. For fun, I sent the URL to Mazda USA and asked if this was a product they endorsed. After all, using the logo must mean something. They replied absolutely not, only use genuine Mazda parts, etc. I was hoping they'd drop a complaint to ebay about unauthorized use of their copyrighted logo, but they never did.

Caveat whatever.

Ken

Veterans? What makes you think I'm not a veteran myself? I've been driving rotary powered vehicles since 1991, have a electronic background, and have been apart of this forum since 2002 (longer than anyone in the entire thread). You don't have a clue about about my overall knowledge about the subject. Don't judge what you don't know!

Man, my knowledge of rotary engines has come a long way since then; along with my car. I feel like an idiot re-reading this thread but oh well, its funny anyways.

Thanks to everyone here for making me a better man than I was in this thread

you know, I bought that dumb module and it was actually my first mod to my car, and I had owned it for a year and a half before joining the forum, I was just so damn excited to start modding that I really thought (at the time) it made a difference!! lol, at least now I have some real mods done.
