365 day Rx8 REW build.
Depending on what you do for the ecu, keeping the stock FD front cover and just making an adapter for the ca sensor might be easier than machining the 8's. Also I don't like the placement of the 8's thermostat housing-again depending on where you mount your turbo.
I was kind of hoping that you would get involved and maybe answer some of the questions as they were mainly directed at you. All the information will then help fellow owners with similar conversions. But as you wish, thanks dznutzuk
They are priced right, light and strong rims. I've always had a sweet spot for them.

Sorry back on topic, good job on your build its coming along nicely!
Few questions out of curiosity, Do you plan on using the RX8 driveshaft/differential with your setup?
Are you going to keep the OEM steering rack or are you converting to the FD PS rack?
Have you decided on what oil youre going to run in the motor? Also, are you using the 2 OEM oil coolers or converting to aftermarket/custom cooler(s)?

Well I would like to see your buddy fit that motor in a RX8 because thats what my motor is going in. If he has that much room make sure you post me some pics when he's done...... as for the down size of my downpipe its not into a oem cat. that flange is bored out to straight 3" exhaust all the way out the back. maybe later on ill switch to all 4" or maybe I will just leave it. We will see, now its crunch time! I'm getting rotary fever and I would like to drive my car at some point. Please email me with suggestion don't cludder a good build or you won't see the burnout vids

Here's a picture of Chris' with his 2inch runners and using a better twin wastegate setup, and mine using a 60mm but with 44mm runners(unfortunately I have no pictures of mine outside the car because of hd formatting). There's no need btw to use 2in, unless you're going to be using a much much bigger turbo. I'll stop crapping in your thread now...
