The tires are NOT run-flat. Your dealer flat out lied to you. (pardon the pun). :D

He told me there's a silver one on the floor if I want to look at it.
In response to your quote about Mazda of Smithtown, would you care to share with me what exactly happened. My father is actually the owner of this dealership. I would greatly appreciate any imput you have about what happened exactly. My e-mail adress is Paintballplaya48@aol.com. Thanks in advance.

Man I feel sorry for you guys where ever your at that your Mazda dealer only has like 6 cars or less than 10? I guess the sales man at my dealership, ( Cory-Fairbanks Mazda , Orlando Fla ) was telling me the truth when he said its the largest dealership in the country. I just did a search and they have 33 diferent RX8 models.

Has anyone had a dealership try to sell you one at or above MSRP? When I test drove a 350Z the salesmen told me "We dont add a premium above MSRP like other dealers do". I just laughed and told him I've never paid MSRP for anything, and I wont be paying MSRP for my next car.

One other reason Im likely to buy the RX8 is price. I work for a Power Company,FPL, and we get the "X PLAN" pricing which amounts to employee prices, the Red MT6 Im looking at has a MSRP of 29.5k and with the X PLan i'd get it for 27K. Plus Ill get $500 off for owner loyalty, We have two other ZOOM - ZOOMs already.

put you spare in your cargo bag like i did.. i have much more room that way in the trunk.. then you only need to buy the tire and wheel.. wich i bet you can get here on the fourm.. but the dealer will rip you off for the tire kit and tire.. just buy the tire and the cargo bag.. it works great the tire lays flay on the trunk floor with the bag keeping it from moving around

good luck you will love your 8

unhijacking now

The ones here have an ADM or "regional adjustment" of $1500 on all of the rX-8s. They tell me that is the dealer's profit because maybe they think I'm stupid. I got the S-plan so it didn't matter. Amazing how much extra money they try to get from you.
