Question Memorial Day weekend purchase

Who has more leverage? The dealer or the buyer?

i say dealer, because they'll have more than usual number of customers visiting the dealership, which means more chances to make a deal, which means less incentive to cater to your needs :o

The customer always has the leverage. You don't have to buy a car to pay your rent. I think the only time a dealer might have the upper hand is when the buyer has a really bad credit history.

I'll probably buy this weekend (05 6-speed GT w/nav). What's a great deal minus taxes?

Hey, I just bought mine this weekend too...

I got $4890 off of MSRP for a white '05 w/Nav and roof.

I'm from Canada btw, so that brings it down to around $39.5k
