I Love My Dealer!!!
First off, let me say that I'm ordered my car from Cush Mazda in Escondido, CA. I went with them because I wasn't happy with previous experiences with a dealer closer to my house. Barb, is the lady to speak with if you're still looking. She's an highly energetic, excited, motivated saleswoman who is just as pumped about the arrival of the RX-8 as I am.
So I went up there today to pick up a temporary sales contract that I could take to my credit union to have a check cut. No idea when the car would arrive, but I wanted to get everything taken care of beforehand. While speaking with her, a green RX-8 pulled up out front (not on a truck and not a dealership car). Turned out that it was a sales trainer from Mazda (their actually using an outside company called Sandy, sp?) and that he was going to be giving a presentation to all of the sales people at the dealership. She introduced me and he asked if I wanted to sit in on the training. HELL YEAH! The training was great. Good info, but most of it we knew.
Anyway, in the middle of the training the truck pulls up with my car on it. AMAZING. My heart started racing and the training virtually stopped because all the sales people were watching the truck pull in. The sales manager asked me for my VIN so he could check to see if my car was onboard (which I already knew it was) and sure 'nuff, the titanium with the appearance package was mine. I was dismayed when it occured to me that I was going to be unable to pick up the check from the credit union until Friday and that I would have to wait that long for the car. Barb and the sales manager talked for a minute and came back to tell me that as long as I left my downpayment check with them today, that they'd go ahead and PDI the car for me and let me take it home tonight!!! :D On top of that, instead of detailing it in house they took it to a highly reputable, outside detailer for me.
Unfortunately, I had to get the contract to my credit union and I didn't have my checkbook with me, so I dropped that off and I'm home waiting for my buddy to come pick me up and drive me up to the dealership to pick it up. I'm going to pick up my car in 10 minutes. I can't believe the day is actually here!!!!
I'll post more when I get home with my new ride.
WOO HOO!!! :p

OBVIOUSLY AN EXCELLENT DEALERSHIP that wants return business. What they did was so smart, and cost them what $30!!!! I bet you and your boys will never buy a Mazda from anyone else.
