I'm New TO The Forum, But I'm Considering An RX-8..Buying An All White Rx-8 From Carmax, But The Price Doesnt Seem Reasonable..I Was Wondering If I Can Go Lower But I Dont Know Much About Mazda Pricing, Thats Y I Would Love Some Information From Experience Users..(You) =)

Anything Would Be Helpful..Oh And Is There A Thread Somewhere That I Can Look Up And Down On A Used Rx-8 Before Buying..Like Checking All Vins, Trunk Spare, Etc.. Etc..

CarMax is non-negotiable/no-haggle price.. They won't go down on the price.. Good thing is, its usually at or below KBB retail price, and getting it from CarMax means you are not getting any kind of Lemon or Salvage, etc. I'd pick a higher priced one at CarMax over a cheaper one from a Dealer.

Fierdon i agree, but i have a homie and his dad works at the carmax the rx8 is at so. i can possible get it at 16K OTD? good? or still overpriced? if so i saw an 04 stick black on black with leather blk with red actually and its priced at 14.8..with about 41K miles? any better? either way im putting bronze rims or white on white on them xD getting ahead of myself but i already have the rx8 almost in the bag =) after driving a beater...im proud to go to an 8 instead of s2k..IMO

oh what is "Shinka Special Edition Coupe 4D" and Grand Touring Mean...Also what other terms are nessecary to know before buying a 8..i think mines basic? just carpet seating and thats about it

^ That would be important stuff to find out. I think if you just go to mazda dealers online and look at the different trims you'll have your answer.

The Shinka was a special edition.. I read somewhere on here that they depreciate in value faster.. But, and don't quote me, I think they all had a Black/Cherry color.. At least the one I saw was.. Absolutely gorgeous color IMO.
