2005 Grand Touring RX8

Well I was in the market of searching for an RX-8 and I found a Brillant Black 2006 RX-8 with the GT package. I have had my eye on this for a little while know but I saw something tonight that I thought they had already sold. It was a 2005 GT RX-8 with the White pearl paint. I was in shock because i have had my eye on it for a while and then they took it off the front lot.

Well now the situation I am in is I want this car but I wanna see what would be a good asking price for this car? I it a $35k car but I know i could talk them down to 27k. do you think i could get them any lower?

brand new "leftover" 2005? If so, you had better be getting a better deal than $27k!

I agree- I know of some new left over 2005's, and I inquired about them- it doesn't seem you are saving much over the cost of a 2006, and I prefer having a later build car.

There really are still some leftover 2005's? Wow...

So the deals on 2006's are pretty close? What is this and what are sport packages going for?

yeah i kind of surprised myself on them still having a 2005 RX8, they are a small dealership so i might go through another dealership to get a price for it and then see what this small dealership can do.

I bought my 05 one year ago this week and paid 22K for it....

go onto edmunds.com and print out the value sheets to take in......
Calculating with 5k miles on edmunds the retail is about 25k......

Ditto. 24.2k back in Feb. Although I think the sticker was a bit lower because mine is an auto.
