Has anyone tracked their car ? Feedback?
How was intake charge temps, temps in general, use different plugs, can you change to a midpipe without adversely affecting tuning, proper belt tension for the track,
how much bigger of a tire did you go too(i run 17's), did you track with the tcs on--if so how big of a nanny was it--- etc?
If I can get mine tuned or flashed by the 1st part of Dec and the weather cooperates then i think I will test mine out.

Unfortunately I have only been able to track in in a straight line. It 2 weeks there will be a track day at moroso on the road course yipppiiiiee. I'm really looking forward to it.

I put on my RB race pipe(cat less) it has perplexed Cam and Moon. Car runs great no CEL.

Hey Ray maybe you and Moon could car pool. Either that or start your own mini convoy.

Oh God, the thought of being in the same room with "Mr. Congeniality" makes me want throw up! Something as small as the confines of a car is unimaginable but not having any interaction with said individual is certainly something that I am thankful for on this Thanksgiving day.

As for you Mr Hill, I can only guess what you are thankful for

No X required

So, there I was knee deep in C-4 and detonating cord…err wrong story.

So, there I was 2:15 AM Wednesday morning tossing and turning in bed debating if I should go to work or to get my butt up and drive down to Pettit for my ECU recalibration. Then, I heard the voice (I don’t do drugs, really) of Rotary god saying “get up you sack of $hit, drive down to Pettit, call your boss in the AM and tell him that your daughter’s pet hamster is not feeling good.

I thought about it for 0.3 seconds, got up, drank a gallon of coffee, brushed my teeth, kissed the wife, got in my RX8 and drove 2.5 hours to Pettit. Waited two hours until JR arrived opened the shop. Later, Cam came in and said “Good morning Juan, ready to get your RX8 recalibrated?” Yes, sir!!!

I spend all day at Pettit, helped Cam and Moon do a methanol install on another SC and tried to convince Cam to give Cam Junior the company car (Cam’s RX8) for X-mas. Left Pettit at 9:30 PM (after an evening dinner with Cam And Moon) and drove 2.5 hours back home.

So, what does it feel like driving my RX8 SC with the recalibration (No Interceptor-X).

1- Drives like a dream
2- No CEL light
3- 40 more RWHP
4- Spanked a Civic twice on my way home “VTEC Dez M/F”
5- Thanks so much Cam/Moon and the entire Pettit team for making my RX8 SC an enjoyable/fun to drive rotary car
6- I still have a job but my boss needs to get over
7-

Roland - you are running with the flash..no?? perhaps that is why you dont have a CEL with a straight pipe...

Ray - Jeff is using the ultimate? correct? if so, would it be safe to assume that thats why he doesnt have a CEL....

we DO know that the x is the definitely the culprit of the CEL with or without a cat..

EMU deletes the "Too Rich" CEL - all the other ones will still trip.

And if your tune is bad enough even on EMU it will trip the CEL.

Don't worry Phil. Cam And Moon know about you and the rest of the AT folks. It is in their agenda. Keep in mind that they are moving in the next couple of weeks but knowing Cam, I'll bet it will be out before the end of the year.

Yes I have been flashed. Not sure why but even if I did have the CEL for the mid pipe I wouldn't mind.

how do you guys find the SC when taking off from idle - do you have to give it more revs than when NA ?

If you want quiet, recirculate the BOV. No more sound.

There isn't spool time unless you count the time spent under 3k. Also, compare your torque to the turbos. Enough said.

good question bret...

its really hard to say...if im just driving it normal like i did when i was NA ....i would say no...

now...since i got the blower, it really doesnt seem like i drive it normal...so in that respect i cant answer the question...

i give it more revs now only cuz i know it goes faster when i do it...

i think revs are the same either way...

but then again, i really dont think i know what im talking about..

no, I'm waiting for scott to post some higher psi dynos too, then do them all at once.

Maybe the best thing to do is edit the original post, and include all the latest dyno charts so that people can review them meanwhile.
