Last word I had from Mazda (thur) is that if all goes well we should have them in hand by the end of the month. Just waiting on paperwork.

Glad I could be of use,

Any chance my hope will ever be realized? Does someone make a deep, throaty exhaust for the RX-8?

You could by a Remus muffler and have custom pipes made for it. Their universal mufflers are alittle expensive (around $400) but every sound clip I've heard sounds great be it a 4, 6, or 8 cylinder. I'm guessing they would sound pretty good on a rotary as well.

Dealership has to prove a malfunction was caused DIRECTLY due to the aftermarket part. And someone told me some things won't void the warranty like and intake and an exhaust. A midpipe will though.

CAI status As of 10am this morning.

Should finish testing and approval @Wed PM PST. When testing is finished they should be ready to ship to dealers @10 working days later. This is still tentative but I am 78.7% certain this will happen as I have stated.

I thank everybody for their patience in this matter,
