Yeah I had to do some digging and research but I came up with one and got permission from my guy to announce what I found.

I am just happy to be of assistance,

Haha, its a project in making! The only "mazdaspeed rx8 ver2" in winning blue! Haha. I'm trying to see if i can get the mazdaspeed fresh air duct from japan, some black mazdaspeed emblems and soon my suspension will be all mazdaspeed (still deciding with the 4 point strut tower or just bars [i like the rx8 engine cover]). Your car is more mazdaspeed than my car is though! Lucky guy you! Hahaha

Mine will be a MS ver 2 when I'm done with it, lol! We all have our own versions of the MS 2. I'm jealous bc I want the susupension. It's just a little too much for my pocket right now. Oh well, maybe later sometime.

Have a great day everyone!

Well, I'm definitely considering this as well, although I did just put in a K&N drop-in filter to try.

Okay, so since the new MS CAI will look similar to the AEM intake, will there just be a big hole in the engine bay where the stock airbox is, with a pipe going down into the bumper? I kinda like the aesthetic look of the engine bay, and I just don't want it to look strange... know what I mean? I don't know, maybe I'm just imagining it not looking right for some reason. But this is why I'd really thought about getting the REVi for a while -- it keeps the stock look. I've found several threads on the AEM, but can anyone find a picture of it installed?

Without having an actuall picture of the design it is hard for me to say one way the other. I'll see what I can do.

Did it look like this?

If so, it's probably the CAI for the Mazda3 or something else...

I'm hoping it has an airbox (stock looking or matching the engine bay). But if it doesnt, i guess i'll be good with it because its still mazdaspeed. Still waiting on the mazdaspeed fresh air duct from my contact in japan. I'm excited and its killing me! haha, that in this CAI!

The pictures they used in the catalog are just generic pictures which is all they had available at the time the catalog was printed.

It has come to my attention that once again one of my competitors is cutting me off at my knees on the price of the CAI. After discussing this with my superiors I have reduced my price as low as I can go. The price has been reduced to 335.00 from 350.00. I know that this is still slightly higher than their price but it is as low as I am being athourized to go. This affects all previosly ordered CAI and any future orders.

Thanks for your understanding,
JMBaggie

I've already decided to place my order with you and pay the extra $20 based on your frequent updates to the forum. No problems at all only paying an extra $7 now. Shipping still included in the price?

Sorry to hear that man, probably would have said to hell with it if I would have known this, but I already placed an order elsewhere.

Well, maybe we can do business in the future ... you do keep us updated on all new goodies from our friends at Mazda.

I should have some concrete info tomorrow. There was a unforseen delay, Mazda is working hard to remedy.

I will post as soon as I have the info.
