Just got the 06 Mazdaspeed accessory catalog and located within it are 2 new items.
1. A new muffler kit instead of the stock looking single muffler they now have much smaller dual muffler setup. where it tee's there are 2 small mufflers one for each tip. Not only that but it is cheaper than the previous model, with an MSRP of 645.00 and a website price of 516.00 compared to 750.00 and 600.00 respectively.

2. Finally a cold air intake will be offered. dont have pricing on that yet as soon as I do i'll let you know.

availability is middle of DEC and JAN respectively.

'website price' where did you see? are there pictures online? can you scan those pages of the catalog in the computer and post them?

OMG a catback under $600?! AND Mazdaspeed!

 

Hopefully it doesn't have wimpy tips like the current MS catback

I'm having a friend of mine scan and e-mail me the picture so that I can post it, so give me about 15min. and I'll have a picture of the exhaust. as for a picture of the CAI its a generic Mazda picture. As soon as They become avail. I'm going to get one in install it on one of are cars and post that, but that is probably going to be @ 1 month from know I am sory for that.

When I first opened the new catalog I heard a load pop, Mazda pulling there head out. Its nice to finally have a product that people really want. Now all I have to do is hope for a good fair price which I probably will have @ the first of the month.

Looks like I might finally get a Catback.

 

The only other quality CAI that I know of is K&N's. When Mazdas become avail. I will get one in and test firt it on one of ours and post the pictures but that could be as long away as JAN. I will keep every one posted.

I realize I read the info in the picture wrong...from whay I reread, Mazdaspeed actually makes a single muffler and a dual...the dual is the one pictured. Doesn't the single muffle look a bit off on our cars?
