Does anyone know if the tips are larger than stock and the first MS exhaust? BAGMAN, is the exhaust on your site that is $571 our price $4-- is that this new exhaust?

Thanks,

No, that's the stock exhaust price.
This new MS exhaust is the last item on this page.

the tips does seem larger in the picture compared to the stock exhaust tips. So i'm assuming yeah. Not for sure though, but I'm pretty sure it is larger.

Try to answer as many questions as possible.

CAI more info in @week
Exhaust tip size will post when I get the first one in.
weight- will post when I get the first one in

Remember the new MS muffler is in the accessory section and will be the one priced at 516.00

I think that covers everything if I missed something let me know.

I’m curious about the size of the pipe, before the mufflers, I wonder if it’ll be the 2.75” I’ve heard the mid-pipe is. When you get your first one in can you let us know on that as well?

If it is anything like the previous MS exhaust it should be at around 1/4-1/2 in larger dia. mid-pipe.

VERY IMPORTANT,

Just got off the phone with Mazdaspeed Accessory. Here is the latest info on the exhaust.

It has been delayed due to fit issues. Mazda is being very picky about the fit and finish of this product. The current issue they had with it is that the Manufatuer that we are using, to get around the fact that the new design rests very close to the plastic guards on the rear cover they extended the tips out a little further, Mazda is concerned with the possible burn factor of that design so the Man. is in the proccess of making the new design and getting it auth. by Mazda. My source is telling me that it may happen as soon as Dec 10th which means that I should get them in shortly afterward.

Now I do have 2 on pre-order and if you want to cancel your order I do understand and will do so, please PM me and let me know.

Do understand that this delay is so that Mazda can give you the highest quality and best fitting product.

As soon as Mazda releases the Muffler or any further info I will let everybody know.

Mazda has a tendency to send info and pricing before the product is truely ready. at the time I posted the original measage the product was in final testing and fit well when the final guy saw the product on the car he raised the issue, the Man. is jumping through hoops to get these out by X-mas hopefully it happens.

as soon as they come out someone please give feedback on how it sounds. From the sound clip that I had of the original Mazdaspeed version it sounded pretty much stock, if this one is the same then I am not interested, but if it has more "sound" to it than stock then I am all about this one.

I am planning on getting either this one or RB's.

they have MS coilovers too. I got my hands on a dealer brochure this past weekend. The coilovers (after 15% discount from list) are like $2100 or so. I think the exhaust is going to run around $400-500. I have to go home and check the price again. My dealer told me that I could get the new exhaust early this week if I wanted to order it.

I am very curious as to how they are going to be able to sell Mazdaspeed coilover kits for less than it is going to cost them to get them from Mazda.

When MSRP is 3832.55 Normal price on my, which is 20% off puts them at 3066.04 and I'll be selling them for 2750.00.

Just Curious on there pricing and there product.

It could be around 2600-2700. I'll have to 2x check on the price tonight.
