Nothing more than what I have already posted. I think I'm pissing Mazda off because I call the head Mazdaspeed accessory dude everyother day and hound him about it.
He doesn't call me back or respond to my e-mail's.

I feel so neglected.

I said that to him and he really didn't have a response so I said that to his boss and he didn't have to much to say other than that he would look into it and stop the lies, maybe.

Know the picture they have of the CAI is just a generic that is not going to be the final design. The final design is going to be quite an extensive install and many parts will be needed to be removed to be able to install it.

I'm going to have them at a everyday website price of 675.00, and I still doubt I'll sell any. I called and bitched at Mazda Corp. about it and I dont think anything is going to change when they do finally release it.

Hi Bagman1,

I know this is the wrong forum and a little off topic, but can you comment on the Mazdaspeed exhaust for the 2nd gen Miata?

In addition to the RX-8, I also own a Mazdaspeed Miata. It comes with a Mazdaspeed exhaust already, but the one in the MS catalog looks different. Do you know how the sound and power compare?

As for sound it is a little more aggresive sounding than stock and from design I'm going on a limb but it looks maybe a little lighter due to design. As for power I couldn't say but if it gives any it would probably be in the upper RPM's.

As for pricing MSRP is 430.00 Website 344.00 and that does include free UPS Ground within the US.

The word on the exhaust is that the pricing is locked in and that do to quality issues the release has been pushed back to 1st or 2nd week of Jan so as of right now the group buy on it is still on.

If you are wondering about the group buy there is a thread on that.

No that they are not. I was told that my last phone call about the way Mazda has gone about doing all this crap was played for 3 very important people and they are changing some of their policies on some of these issues so hopefully we wont see this happen again.
