^I have a fully stocked small cooler that I carry in my right rear passenger seat - I wrap it in a big towel so as not to scratch anything and put the front passenger seat all the way back. I never have problems You should see what Kristopher carries in his trunk on these drives

Yeah they are just supposed to email it to you within a half hour and then you just print it off. I had no clue about it, but I thought they would probably have something like that. this should work http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/wave2go/index.cfm
That fun? Someone want to drive my car for me? Kari told me you were pretty fun too though TiGr8Lady, she said you were really fast

I'll be right on you, don't worry Don't care about "following distances" right? haha
Dang, it is only in the 70s over there, we had about 80 plus today. Looks like no rain for sunday though.

What? With the amazing brakes we have??!! No, seriously... It depends on the road conditions.... occasionally we run in to "rough" spots, so we keep our distance if there is gravel or dirt of any kind.
The core group of us who have been doing these drives for 2 years know our cars and each other's abilities well. Sometimes you'd swear we look like the Blue Angels in formation hahahahahahahahahaha
I just saw the weather report - they said 84 for Sunday!!!

Sounds awesome
On the ferry bit, is it a good idea to pre-order the tickets or is it fine to buy them when you get there? Or is that a bit of Russian Roulette as to whether they'll be sold out/buy in time for the right ferry?

All the Wave2Go program does is allow you to prepay. It doesn't save a spot in line, so you still sit in the ferry waiting lane with everyone else. Of course, it's a little different for the Anacortes-Victoria route, but that's a completely other topic.
I'm not sure it's quite as wild a ride in my passenger seat when I'm leading the pack as it when I'm on my own. Volney(marquis) can fill you in on how I drive when I'm REALLY playing.
"You're not going to brake for that turn?"
"I wasn't planning on it." *squeazes gas*

Thanks guys.
And speaking of things flying around in the trunk, where do you guys keep your quart of oil? (Since I assume we all keep one in the car :P) Right now mine's living in the container that's in the console/door to the trunk in the back seats. Any other suggestions? Kinda a pain to have to open the back door to get at it.

I scored a cool Mazda zipper bag that holds 1 quart and it velcros to the inside of the trunk - got it on Ebay from a Mazda dealer in the UK. But I usually buy several quarts at one time, so they sit in a plastic bag in the well. We'll compare trunks this weekend!

check out this thread, there are a lot of good ideas. I just keep mine in a box in the trunk with my premix and other stuff.

I've a small backpack with jumper cables, a tarp, shop towels, glass cleaner, wheel chock, and some other miscellanious bits that are good to have around. The oil goes in there with the funnel.

Well, looks like we've decided to extend Q's bday into Sunday as well, so we're out. Have fun though, and if any of you happen to be in Tacoma afterwards, we'll probably be over at the Taste of Tacoma sometime.
