rx8 is leaving

hey guys my rx8 is out the door on monday. thank god!! this lease is terrible and it will come to an end on monday when i settle everything. i picked up a brand new 05 WRX premium package (blue! it matches my rx8!). the financing on this is much much better than my damn rx8 lease.
the dealership was awesome to deal with and gave me no problems. they gave me the car for the entire day while they crunched numbers. i had fun hanging out with u guys around the area! if u guys have another cruise, ill bring the WRX! at least ill be able to keep up with u all! :D see u guys around!

No offense, but if you were in a terrible lease and they crunched the numbers for you on a brand new car how could you not overpay once again?

im not in another lease, this car is being financed.

i have all the info i need to deal with these guys on this car. i plan on looking at the numbers more closely and since im not dealing with money factor, i can work out the finance percentage.

due to my negative equity, i will overpay by a little but not much. i am working with a couple other banks to get what i want. believe me, my payment is going down over $170 in comparison with my lease payments. im gonna try to tune it and bring it down a few more bucks.

Hey Iron Medic, since I'm in the same boat, stuck in a bad lease, let me know if you have any tips. Are you getting the STI vesion? WRX is a very cool car. How do you like it compared to the 8 (not trolling here, just curious).

As long as you don't look at it while your walking up on it......

I know the STI is a great car to drive - but truthfully, do you think those WRX owners get out of their cars and look back, just to admire the beauty???

For me there is a lot to enjoying my car - and how it looks on the inside and outside is an important part of that total.

JMO - coming from an MT owner.

Hey Chris,

Sure I'll race you now...I've already held my own against a WRX...I can do it again...though I would like to see how you hold up on a St. Helens run again.

I hope you enjoy the new car.

at least on a st. helens run i can keep up! im gonna do some easy work on the car this summer.

tuesday is the day! i know for sure my payments will drop alot but i need to keep negotiating everything. these guys are very easy and friendly to work with so that will help. they dont do the "run back and forth" deal and keep saying "good news" blah blah blah. they want to put it all on the table at one time and start doing business straight up. we will talk every single detail of the plan and get everything straight before i sign. they were great enough to pull the car off the lot and put it in the back.

actually, she spoke with her sister about doing something like this. her sister told me that she wanted to do this (get rid of the 8). i knew she wanted to when we almost got an evo8 before i left for 7 level school. i feel she will be happy with what she sees in the garage. im just so happy i have no lease and my car is financed!

lol arent u on that dyno run thing? i didnt realize it was going on otherwise i would have shown up to say hi! man its so much fun having a turbo now! lol! the car pulls pretty good but once i do my up pipe, down pipe, exhaust swap, it should pull more. i plan on doing a cobb stage 1 ecu flash on it for another 40-50hp (from what i hear, its been proven). this will all happen during the summer!
