The Quinalt area and the Queets Basin in the western Olympics just North of me, received over 10” of rain in less than 24 hours!! Devastating what water can do as a force. We did lose power yesterday for about 3 hours.

Everyone else high and dry I take it?

 

We're good, although there is a LOT of water over roadways near me. A few yards in my neighborhood have flooded, but nothing too serious yet.

we keep getting periods of nice dry sunny weather followed by torrential downpours. we're getting a downpour now. its really loud

 

We had some of that in Kirkland last night, also a HUGE Thunder roll as well.

 

Well, I arrived in Massachusetts to snow. Somehow my layover was in the one part of the country not being crushed by snow storms (Colorado, strangely) and so neither of my flights were cancelled, though both were delayed.

 

my power was out alllll day. fingers crossed it stays on for this evening...

 

we had a small tornado touch down and cause some damage.
