It was about 60 miles south of me so no damage to our house. It touched down not to far from my mother in-law's house. It was a small F0-F1 but did some decent damage.

I was born in Oklahoma, and lived there and moved to Kansas. I lived in tornado alley for 30 years. Never had property detroyed, but I had a buddy who witnessed first hand what a tornado can do.
Driving down Highway 150 East in Kansas, toward the exit by the FINA Gas Station, a State Tropper passed him doing mega-mph! We were under a torando watch, but so be it. We partied like we did not care when the storms came. (lightening watching parties were the bomb...) He matted the pedal and caught up with the trooper at the gas station. The tropper was glad he did speed to get there, and my buddy said WTF? He said a twister was coming down the highway, and that you have 1 minute to vacat. The trooper sped there to get the gas station locked down. Throw the safety valves closed.
****, he bolted, got on the ramp, and up on the overpass over 150, and looked down the highway, and sure enough - freakn' twister coming (that is Kansas slang for Tornado)
Matted the pedal again on the Fury III (lolz dang car had park benches for seats...) Looked over his shoulder and winessed the gas station getting leveled, gas shutoff worked, but he was there seconds earlier.
Do not take them for granted like we did as kids - scary stuff
