Progress is slowed a bit as I added a new addition to my stable. This time time instead of 4 wheels it has 4 legs.

Hi every body am back! Lets just say after having a really hard 3 years, going thru a 20 years divorce, its really good to know that went a door closes in your life its because an other one will open for you and it has, I have never been happier in my life!

I still have my angelica, but i been having some problem with her which now after changing coil, spark plug wires, spark plug 4 times, maf sensor twice and fuel pump, both oxygen sensor and i have a new cat converter. The car still has med power idler well, last time i drove it, it was driving fine all the way to seatler, and as am leaving to come back it just died on me and would not start and i did not get a cell like the other times, after 10 minutes i got it to start but I had to keep it between 6,000 or 9,000rpm all the way home, the next day i change the spark plug again and it started, put it did give me a hard time like if it was flooded, since then its start ok but i feel that it has med power, and I have no cell, I have not driving it far, just around the block, but went it did give me a code I can't remember the code, since the cars been park for four month now, but i do remember the cause, 1 coils or plug, 2 maf sensor, 3 Vacuum leak, 4 fuel system or pressure, 5 mechanical. So am just going to save some money and take it to a shop, as I don't have much money now day!

But good new I do have a new daily driver, Mazda Speed 3 09, her name is Angelina. She has a turbo upgrade and i still can't believe how fast this car is and i still get 29mpg, lol

If anybody remembers me, I may be selling my '04 RX8. There are some who have seen the car, but what makes mine a one of a kind, is the Engine was built by Rick Engman, street ported and Iannetti Ceramic Seals....

I have been sparse here lately. Car has over $50K invested in it, so it will be a bargain no doubt if I get an offer. Comes with the original engine also.

Hi my name is Anibal, its been a while. I have a 04 rx8 with 87,000 miles, mazda replace my engine at 43,000 miles and i had never had a problem until now. its has foil my spark plug twice times with in a month and half. So I stop driving her. I had a friend stop by and hear her starting, which is hard now (like if its flooded, but it does star) and hear her idles fine, there is a littler hesitation went you step on it, but she still gets to 9,000rpm with no problem. He works on Rx7 and toll me it could be fuel injector sense we can hear it clicking (tit tit tit) with out trying to get close to them or the new fuel pump is bad( meaning that the regulator is not regulating the correct pressure and is making the injectors leak inside the engine, there for foiling my spark plugs) plus we put a can tool on the car and the long term fuel is at 10.0+ and the cat temp is at 12,000f went its idling ( I check this three times now went the car was cold, with the same out came) in the last eight month I have change coils, wires, spark plug as regular maintenance(march 2015), then i got a cell, bad cat, so I change its (two weeks later). Then two weeks later running lean and it foul my spark plug, so I change them and the maf sensor. after that I got a cell running rich, so I change the fuel pump(about a Month later). Then a month later With out a cell it dye on me, Spark plug foil I manage to get her started and driver home from settler at 6,000rpm all the way home to puyallup, were she's been park sense. I do remember that the hard starting part started one month after I put the new fuel pump which is from Autozone, all parts are new less then 1,000 miles.

Am thinking on changing the fuel pump under warranty and if that does not fix her then replace the fuel injector.

I started this thread Feb 2010. Wow no one has posted in it for 1.5 years and it is only 1/4 way down the first page? NW section used to be fairly busy. Sad days.

 

New here! I was just gonna ask if there were meetups or anything. Things are looking pretty bleak in the NW section.

 

Unfortunately that seems to be the case, I would love to meet more owners around the area though.

I would normally be down, just hard to say if I'll be up in time to make the hour drive before 8am :P So no promises on this one.
