The rears are just about as big/bigger than most fronts. If the price wasn't astronomical I'd think about a set for the 8.

Just turn it into a coffee table.

Side note; posting from a computer and the picture of my rear brakes is ******* huge. I need to fix that tonight. Resnap a new picture of the rear setup.

I wish. I let the tags expire and dropped the insurance. It is a garage queen now. I started it last week though

Definitely not for sale I do really miss driving it. Not much to get excited about driving a Honda CR-V.

Just dropped my car for service and there was a customer waiting for a loaner, his eyes got real big as I drove up and he asked me with a smile...."is this my loaner?"

My wife and I are flying into Portland next week, and we will be there into the weekend. (Her brother is getting married). We plan on going to see some of the landmarks in the area, Mt St. Helens is one of them, possibly Mt Hood. Any specific recommendations or specific routes that are enjoyable? We will have a rental, so a FWD slushbox, but I'm crossing my fingers for a Ford Focus at least, since they are pretty decent.

There are a lot of places to checkout. If you go to St Helens I recommend the south side. It is an awesome drive.

A really nice drive is Historic Columbia River Highway. You will wish you were not driving a FWD slush box! If you do both of these drives you are going to see why the PACNW has some of the best roads in the USA for driving.

Multnomah Falls. If you guys are up for a hike it is 2 miles to the top of the falls.

Vista House

Portland Japanese Gardens

Pittock Mansion built in the early 1900s

Bonneville Dam. They have an awesome fish hatchery as well.

Grab a temp permit, and I'm sure pdxhak will let you borrow his 8.

... I'd do it too Rent someone's 8 that is. Thrifty is charging me $22.10 a day for 9 days, plus $800 in taxes and fees, most of which is because I'm dropping the car off in San Diego, not Portland. I'd easily drop a few days from that to drive an 8 instead
