I drilled holes in the bottom of my lights :'( but I haven't had a chance to do any silicone yet. Will get around to that. So far, 3 holes in the lights and the water has never come back.

sweet i just need time ill probably do it in missouri while im there.. i ordered some eye lids jsut need to paint them, and i think my GT body kit for the MS body kit trade fell through =(

 

It was, but I could still notice where I drilled. :-(

Oh well, it's effective in what it does, and I tried to make it look symmetrical to either side. But the shavings from one drill hole are still in the housing and I can't get them out :'(

 

seriously. the tail light fix took me like 5 minutes, if you dont count the time it took to dry them out with my hair dryer.

just wondering... why does everyone like eyelids?? ive only seen them in pics, never in person. am i missing out?

 

i like how they look with the MS body kit alot!!! if mike goes on friday he has his on i wont have mine till after vegas since i have to paint them

But the holes did a good job eliminating all water build up in the lights.

I've seen some cool eye lids, like where it's only part of the light to give it another type of look.

 

use a bent pipe cleaner to get the shavings out! ya know, those little fuzzy things you used to make "art" with as a kid? i bet that would work like a charm.

 

you should go to the vegas meet. my brother in law knows the spots since he lives there, a bunch of not on the strip but bad *** places that are fairly cheap so i know im hanging with him at first till i get saucy then ill probably go walk the strip
