For the engine swaps and testing before hand, I paid nothing. It was all free, they even swapped my spark plugs for free on my first engine (was under 5 years at that point). I don't know the story with those fuel lines, so I'm sure mine are still the origanals. I did have to pay to replace my clutch (parts only, not labor) which was obliterated by the first reman, by no fault of my own! So the clutch was the only cost to me for all the useless testing and both remans.
I hope this one lasts forever though!

yep. my paperwork said 'waiter' on it too so they do take care of people waiting in the shop faster. or maybe just the ones buggin them. driving their mazda 3 probably speeds them up too. i told them i'll be out of town sun-fri so if they want their car back they have to finish mine before then.

Yep. If I get a new motor and everything is good then I will feel comfortable. But my biggest concern is time off from work. Especially with the new position. Next week I will have a much better idea though which was my plan from the beginning. We still good on sharing a room?

I tried to get a loaner car, but they wouldn't do it for me. I would of had to pay them to rent it.
Which made dropping my car off and picking it up a real PITA for me!
Also most of the waiting time for my replacement (once they finally decided to replace it) was for the engine to be shipped to them ~1 week each time. The engine swap itself was as quick as a day and a half on my second reman. And 3 days on the first one, they kept calling me and pushing their ETA back more, they were too busy or something.
