A few of us were at PGP yesterday for a day of driving our cars on the kart track. Really fun! There was a guy in there in a modified S2000 on 255/40-17 R888s that was setting the fastest lap times of all the cars. During one of the sessions halfway through the day he pulled off early because he heard and felt something coming from the rear of his car. His left rear also had two spokes showing cracks, whereas the right rear had two intact spokes, and the rest sheered completely through. Have you guys seen anything like this?

The lateral stress thing kinda makes sense... look at how thin (in that direction) the spokes are (and how much better looking they are! I like this wheels more every time I look at a post from Chris...) vs. the spokes on our RPF1's:

God, at $855/wheel, that's painful...ly good looking. They're not light enough to be race wheels but they'd be totally pimp as street wheels. They look like Erik's actually, but I liked them better in his color, the machined blue.
