Registration for event #2 is open. I'm going to register but i'm pretty sure my car is not going to be ready to go by then (I have no intake at the moment )

I went around and got quotes today from Discount Tire and Les Schwab for tires and wheels... though Les Schwab is gonna have to call me back on Monday. One way or another I'm placing an order Monday morning. $1700 shipped from Tire Rack or $2050 installed from Discount Tire... Not much of a contest.

My Star Spec's are $151/tire - $50 MIR for 4, how about yours? So yes, the 17x9's.

For better or worse, I have more sidewall. I end up 2.7lbs/wheel lighter than Chris, 6.7lbs/wheel lighter than you. We'll have to compare once I have them but I don't think there's any doubt that the larger sidewalls are going to LOOK worse.

I'm swapping intakes with a guy from Virgina -- my stock for his AEM. He couldn't go without an intake so i had to send mine out first and i wont get his AEM until next Monday. Boo! Oh well.

 

thats a deal! straight trade? i bet you could borrow someone's stock intake from around here. lots of us have cai but i sold off my stock parts.

i had to take them off to reorder them so i might have damaged them. i'll try a new set and see how that goes.
