Wow this is a bad *** build many many props for you!!!!

Being a former SAAB owner myself I personally love the cars and as long as you stick to the 4cyl cars you are good, now yes just like the RX or almost any European car if you are lazy with maintenance you are asking for it!

Good luck to you!!!

Now i will be fitting battery in the boot somewhere about here (pic) will get fixed properly
running wires through car to engine, fuse box etc..
Don't know if i'll manage to get dash lights off without going through mazda ecu but i'll give it a bash.. might have to make up a seperate loom..
if not then bulbs might have to come out
just trying to trace which wire run to where..

That's about it for now, won't get anymore done till next week now..

Gave myself a birthday present today (21)
ran some temporary wires and managed to get the engine to fire up and run..
but unfortunately its got a wee oil leak at housing for oil cooler pipe, even after I took the o'rings out cleaned and greased them all, but it was a bit tight to push back in, must have folded the seal as the pipe went in, now got to take the 2 back out and get oil everywhere..
But happy it all runs now..

If you swap a Rotary into a Saab, I would still be subscribed.
It doesn't feel right and it surely doesn't sound right.
Good luck and have fun.

Grtz Dennis.

yeah possibly mate.. took ages to get oil round it due to being completly dry and new sump, pick up etc.. was ok once run up couple mins.. might be ok, but easy fix if required.. also exhaust to fix..
Its out the garage now on stands whilst the kadett gets done so need to rely on the weather to get more done to it..
going to run new fuel line on opposite side and put a return into tank, cause mazda did'nt do it..

Are you going to have your return line feed the siphon?

Revotec self sealer with 8mm take off arrived.
Drilled the right size hole and fitted it in the tank, left plenty room for inserting pump and feed pipe etc..
All fitted and pump back in and hopefully the ring will seal..
Mazda say ring should be tightened to 90lbs/ft

New fuel lines run..
Steering done..
Rad fan fitted..
Think i might fit a dash unit with warning lights, tacho, speedo, temps, fuel, etc as after reading about people trying to get tacho etc to work and not being able to, I think it will be easier building new dash into car..
Engine runs fine, no internal knocking.. filled up with anifreeze water..
Jusr need to get stuck into wiring now, fix battery, master switch etc..
