Shift **** Repair

I apologize if this has been answered but I couldn't find it so far.

My OEM 6MT **** has the top rotary emblem coming off. The whole thing, not just the decal but the whole "aluminum" part. It there any way to easily repair this?

I will admit, I haven't tried hard to remove it but I don't want to spend $50-$150 on a custom **** considering the weight of the factory piece.

You must heat it with a heat gun, remove the center plastic piece (takes time), and the screw is there. Then reassemble after cleaning up previous adhesive.

More on shift **** repair - If the lock ring on the bottom of the shift **** has broken, I have found that the Jet BMX crank spindle spacers 22mm make for a well-fitting replacement. Just search for these on the internet. The cost is only $3.99 on the date of this posting. I used the largest and smallest spacer in combination to replace the original lock ring. It appears to fit tight enough to stay in place.
