So I have an rx8 motor and I've also got a rx7 fb. The 12a motor is shot so I'm putting in the rx8 one. Can I just swap the flywheels so it will fit into the trans and not have any balancing issues?

 

You would need an RX8 counterweight to use with a flywheel that fits...

The counterweight is matched to the motor. The stock flywheel is balanced to the motor so the 12a one wouldn't balance the Renesis properly

thank you that's very much appreciated. I thought the motor mounts would be similiar considering the biggest diffrence is the is the height of the 12a correct?
