So I recently swapped out the motor on my 2004 RX8. It has an automatic transmission. The car has been sitting for several months. When I started up the car and went to move it out of the garage it started pissing out tranny fluid like crazy. I noticed that the leak is coming from where the engine and tranny bolt up on the bottom. I believe this is a pump seal but I'm looking for advice/opinions since it will obviously involve dropping the transmission. Any thoughts?
