Catastrophic ATM Fluid Leak

My son was driving down the interstate and loss power.
Engine runs fine but no reaction to changing gears.

Transmission dip stick is dry. Put two quarts in and it moves in reverse and drive however, it pours and sprays out from under the very front of the car.

2004 Mazda RX8 Automatic/Manual shifters.

There is so much fluid everywhere I cannot tell where the leak is coming from? Is there a coolant reservoir that the ATF fluid connects to?

I don't have the AT model, but I believe it would be at the bottom of the radiator. Look for the point closest to the front of the car where you see the fluid as the starting point that would be near the leak.

Check your AT cooler hoses.... they route through the bottom of your radiator. Hopefully its as simple as having a corroded hose and/or connector.
