Went out for a drive both today and yesterday, on both drives the oil pressure light came on for about a minute, on the second drive it came on multiple times and then turned off, I checked my oil levels and they seemed fine, on top of having a recent oil change of 5w30 with my used engine install. Only seems to happen when the engine is warm, pressure gauge hasn’t moved. Any ideas for what the cause is?

Its oil level and it can go bad in the early year RX8s. Solution is to replace the oil pan and sensor. Happens to me too, usually on the way home from track outings for some reason.

As long as the oil level is actually fine, I'd look into that and check the sensor wiring to make sure it's not loose/damaged.
