Arrow New Member Here !

Whats up everyone, new member to this particular forum, but not new to rotaries. Anyway I'll break the ice. My name is David, 35yo (Old AF), from Tennessee. I have owned a few rotary cars, 84 FB GSL, 85 FB GSL-SE, 88 FC TII and a 94 FD Rx7 Chaste White PE Package. My current car is a 2005 Rx8 Grand Touring. I have had it since it has had 20k on it and it now has 145k with the same engine it came from the factory with. So whether your stopping by and reading this to say whats up, or just to tell me to kiss your by God *** .That is fine with me, Just post away, it gives me a reason to post so I can start my build thread.

Nice job on keeping your engine running for that long!

Mind sharing your maintenance, driving style, etc?

I stayed on top of dealer recalls/tsb/reflashes, I PreMix religiously, The engine sees redline at least once every time i drive it, I Change my oil every 3k and never let it run low, I run Rotella T5 Semi Synthetic 15w40, Wix Filters, Change my plugs every 10-15k and I don't run stock ignition coils. I run D585's with MSD plug wires. I have been through 2 clutches, and i ALWAYS re-toque my tension bolts every time the transmission is out. Oh, and not having a heat magnet, cup holder warming catalytic converter.

I use www.imgur.com to upload and host photos. Works great as they give you the forum IMG code to copy and paste to post pics.

Yeah that's still a negative. I got on imgur and signed up up. The forum just will not let me upload photo's. It wont let me paste or type in the image code/link. I used to have photobucket, but that account is long since been gone.
