Missing Nut, anyone know the size?

I had what felt like severely broken engine mounts, so I ordered a set of mounts from RX8 Performance and while replacing the old ones (one had indeed torn) I noticed the engine was not just lifting but tilting forward when I was taking weight off the mounts. Further investigating revealed that the lower pair of nuts that hold the transmission to the beam were not secured (and one was missing). I have removed the transmission before and I am fairly confident I followed torquing procedures for those nuts, but alas one is now missing (Either I missed torquing them or my wrench may need some severe calibration)
Anywho, I need a replacement nut that goes on the stud that connects the transmission to the beam. Part number 9yb04-A401. Looking around online the sucker is going to run $20 or more! Does anyone know what the thread is? (I do not have access to the car until the weekend, when I will want to install the nut) Also does anyone see any issue with just grabbing a high strength replacement from a local nut and bolt joint? Thoughts on low strength threadlocker on these puppies?

Thanks!

You should buy the proper part for this. Yea, its expensive for a little nut, but its peace of mind really.

This is a major structural element in the driveline.

I recommend you plunk down the money for the correct part and, for the love of doG, torque it to spec.

I found a local dealer that said it should only cost $10 and is ordering it for me out of texas. I am going to borrow a friend's fancy digital torque wrench this time, but I am still wondering if putting some blue loc-tite on the stud is a good idea or not?

It won't hurt anything but it shouldn't be necessary if you torque it correctly.

You could. Wouldn't hurt anything.

There is no reason for them to come loose though if they are torqued properly

Yeah that’s the PPF stud nut. It’s not small actually, but large and heavy duty. Pretty unique due to the application requirement, so you did the right thing buying the OE part.
