Hi,
I'm on the search for a new car and am really interested in buying an rx8. I've heard mixed reviews and I know that you will have all heard the questions im about to ask before.


I know that the rotary engine is completely different from a piston engine and will require more maintenance, but I keep hearing of peoples cars not lasting longer than 30k ?


how regularly do they need to be serviced?
what do I need to look out for when buying one?
are they are good car to use and what should I do to maintain the engine ?
what is a bad mileage to buy?


I work offshore so don't need a car for everyday use just weekends doing the odd trip.


I hope someone will be able to help me as im really unsure at the second
