Hi,

Just got my R3 and spotted this green stuff, looks like a liquid that’s hardened. Any tips on what might be leaking here? Will investigate more in the daylight tomorrow.

Coolant. Looks like heater core entry?
is it still leaking or is it an old trace from prior work?

 

Check your coolant tank for low level, looks like heater hose may be seeping onto clutch master cylinder.

 

Yup, coolant level was low, topped it up (although it’s a bugger trying to tell what the level actually is!).

Not seeing anything more leaking at the moment… Is it that braided-looking hose that may be leaking? Cant see any issue with it so hoping it’s from old work. Is it difficult to get a hold of a replacement for that kind of thing?
