to make a long story kinda short, i bought an 04 automatic rx8 about a week a half ago and it already kicked the bucket on me lol, i had my friend look up the code it was throwing and after some investigation i found that the engine harness wires get dull and corroded if the car isn't driven for a while , it being an 04 and only having 44k miles means it must have done some sitting, the cheapest and only place i could find a whole harness was ebay , but my question is does it matter if the harness comes from a manual?

 

You would need an AT harness...they are quite different than the MT harnesses

 

thanks for the info , would you recommend anywhere or you think ebay is the best bet for something random like that
