Question everyone! When I close my door or get out of my car, there is a creeking sound coming from the back near the wheels it sounds like your closing a door to an old car. Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice? I went to a local mechanic, he put it on a lift, and explained there was no issue.

 

how many miles are on the car?
Can you reproduce the noise by "bouncing" the car?

 

My car makes a similar noise when I jack up the rear. 70k mileage. Was always curious as to the noise.

 

Sounds as though a bushing or two are dry and/or the corresponding mount(s) rusted. Here is a diagram of the suspension so you can get a better idea where to start looking.

 

I had something like that after changing suspension. Upper suspension link bushing needed to be tightened.
