Team - that’s the eventual plan. Noticed the old one was unraveling on the back end. Something to watch for as a failure issue.

 

I’ve never seen an HJS spiral out. If I’m understanding you correctly, I’d question if it was actually a legitimate HJS cat if that happened. They have a specific manufacturing process that prevents that from occurring, because they’re not just center-rolled up like those cheap cats that do spiral out. I always raced on the 100 cpi Motorsport version though without any issue and never had a CEL either.

Don’t cheap out, buy one rated for at least 3.0L or higher displacement with Euro4 or higher rating or the HD motorsport version.
