AZ Counterweight for lightweight flywheel?

I have a 2004 rx8. I just got a new trans and clutch. My oem flywheel is toast., so I am looking at new ones atm. I'm looking at an XTR racing lightweight flywheel ( XTR 4140 Forged Chromoly Clutch Flywheel Mazda RX 7 Turbo 13B FD RX 8 13BMSP | eBay ). i was reading and it seems like i might need a counterweight to go along with it. Now i understand that the oem flywheel has the counterweight built in, but would an aem one have it built in, or would it not even need a counterweight? Also, if i do get a lightweight flywheel, will i need to get a tune on it for optimum performance?

In the listing it says...

NOTE: Flywheel requires external counter weight balance which is not included. Please search our store for counter weight balance listings.

Every flywheel for this engine will need a counter weight

There is no tuning to do with a flywheel change.

But.... that's a) cheap, b) ebay, c) no name brand with pretty bad reviews if you google search.
For something going 10,000rpm next to your feet, you might want to invest a little more.

AZ flywheel counterweights

I'm ordering a new lightweight flywheel, and i can't figure out the counterweight situation. Is the front counterweight the exact same as the rear, or at least can i use the front in the rear? Also, can i use any brands counterweights for any flywheel? I heard that as long as the weights are for the same car, then they're made to the same specs.

Rear is different...front wont work on the rear....

AS LONG AS IT'S A COUNTERWEIGHT FOR AN RX-8 YOU ARE GOOD...either an aftermarket one like an ACT...or a Mazda one off an auto transmission car

Counterweights for other rotary engines will not work........
