Update #2 I've been running on the rebuilt engine for a few months. So far I've drive it close to 1,500 miles. I've been topping up oil religiously never letting it get below 3/4 of the way down. Compression seems to be staying consistent since cranking takes the same time as it did in the beginning whether hot or cold (around 1 second)

I hope my thread can help out other members. I've gained a lot of knowledge from the forum, and hopefully the forum can learn something from me as well.

I have a question on what some call the idiot lights on the dash.I get orange letters AT once in a while and i don't know what this is?. I know it stands for automatic transmission, but what was the reason the light was there?. I dropped my automatic trans fluid a few weeks back and did again just a few days ago and the light came on for a few minutes and after shut down and restart it was gone?. i tried to ask this on the "Dumb question thread but too much snarky over there.
