I'm glad you're enjoying the characteristics of your 8. Definitely be careful canyon running. I used to do that during my younger years and luckily nothing has ever happened to me but a lot of my buddies got hurt and hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages has occurred. Definitely be careful around those canyons, it's no joke. Honestly, i moved from canyon running to autocrossing and track racing which i recommend you should just hop on now :P. The 8 is a beast around the corners and the feeling of confidence is always there.

Ya I've been talking to all the guys who frequent glendora ridge where I go and found out one of the guys just threw his 8 into the cliff wall Thursday it's fun but I'm definitely not full bore I don't want to ruin my baby lol and as far as autocross goes I've already got plans to start doing time trial Tuesdays at one of the go kart tracks near me and doing autocross at Irwindale speedway lol

Nice, that's definitely the way to go. I'm have less anxiety on a track than the canyons. Haha. Either i'm just getting too old or i finally became more responsible :P

Haha nice I just like the atmosphere up there even if I don't drive hard just hanging out with everyone is cool but I'm definitely itching to hit the track especially after last night

can't stress enough about the safety of yourself and others...have fun but never go 10/10ths....I totaled my first 8 and lost a friend dodging a motorcycle mid turn. it's something that will haunt you for the rest of your life. I'm a track addict and a decent driver but a more controlled environment promotes safety. stay safe out there

It's amazing what a country drive in this car does for your conscience, isn't it?

But I agree that the track is the place for 10/10ths driving. I put my cars, myself, and, most importantly, others in danger too often pushing the limits on country roads when I was younger. It's a good place to find yourself, but not the limits of your car.

Autocross is a lot of fun and the people are great too. You'll have a blast.
